Risks: There are a range of risks associated with maritime activities which can not be entirely
eliminated. These include the possibility of onboard accidents that may include injuries from falls &
trip hazards or a range of injuries from use or failure of equipment used for activities, individuals not
following instructions or not complying with rules of the vessel. Although the vessel will not leave
the dock and scheduled activities are on board the vessel (i.e. no swimming), risks also include those
associated with water activities up to and including drowning, due to the proximity of an open water
environment.
